become a
Christian?

How do I
join FBC Trussville?

First Baptist Church Trussville is made up of people, just like you, seeking the love, joy, peace and hope found only in a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Here  you will be challenged to commit to
God, know His ways, and do His work.  Because at First Baptist Church Trussville, it's all about Him!

"The Sunday Experience"
Sunday Service Times

We have three morning services at 9:15 (traditional) 10:45 (blended) and 10:50 (contemporary), and an evening service that begins at 6:00 PM.  The 10:50 contemporary service takes place in the FBCT Annex, and features a live message simulcast.

Sunday School
Sunday School (or "Bible Study" as it is sometimes called) takes place at 8:00, 9:15 & 10:45 AM.  Classes are formed to meet the individual needs of where you are at your specific stage in life.  For a complete listing of classes offered and times, visit our Sunday School page.

Parking
As you pull onto our campus from any entrance, you'll immediately see large white signs with blue lettering, pointing you to our guest parking section. As our guest, you'll find convenient parking at the front of the church (in front of the steeple).  In the event that additional parking is needed, one of our many parking attendants will be happy to assist you.  Parking for our membership is readily available all over our campus, with shuttles running for your convenience.

Where Do I Enter?
The FBC Trussville campus is comprised of four main buildings.  The Worship Center is located in the building closest to Chalkville Mountain Road (the main entrance); you'll see the steeple. Entering any of the exterior doors on the left or right of the steeple will leave you just a few seconds away from finding a good seat in our sanctuary.

Childcare
We know your child's experience with us is just as important to you as your own.  Entering our Gathering Space, located just off the Sanctuary, you'll find registration tables to help you know where to go.  A FBCT representative will even take you. Your child will have a great time in our clean, convenient and safe facilities with our loving childcare workers, letting you enjoy the morning as well.  Childcare is available for children six-weeks of age through age five.

Children/Students
There's always a lot going on for our children and students on Sundays.  Children's church for kids grades 1-5 is a high energy, fun time of learning, singing and Bible study, led by Children's Minister Blake Kersey and his crew.  Our students, grades 6-12 have Sunday School classes designed just for them during the 9:15 hour, then attend worship together at 10:45.

What Can I Expect In The Service?
You are our guest, and we want you to feel as comfortable as possible.  Before the service, take a copy of First Words (our printed worship guide) from one of our many ushers as you enter the Sanctuary, and take in the video clips on our two IMAG screens.  When the service begins, you'll enjoy the musical selections and worship in the service as well as the down-to-earth style of our Pastor, Buddy Champion.  You will not, however, be asked to stand, be recognized or be singled out in any way.  You're part of the family.  Just relax and enjoy the morning.

Other Questions?
You can't miss our "Information Center" in the Gathering Space.  A smiling representative will be happy to answer any question you may have.  Or, ask any of our greeters around the campus; just look for the silver name tag.

We hope your experience is a good one this Sunday as we celebrate peace, hope and life given to us through Christ Jesus!

"The Non-Sunday Experience"
Sunday is the anchor each week for our church, but Wednesdays are a close second.  In fact, Wednesdays at First Baptist are The Place to be!  The Bread Cafe' (our Fellowship Meal) is served from 4:45-6:00 PM, featuring a delicious, affordable family meal for your family.  Discipleship classes on a wide range of areas of study begin at 6 PM, with preschool, children & student activities and choir/orchestra rehearsal happening at this time as well. On Tuesdays, our ladies Bible study begins at 9:30 AM. Morning Bible Study and a host of other ministries throughout the week to keep you plugged in.  For a comprehensive look at this month's calendar, click here.
