FBCT
Student Ministry
The FBCT Student Ministry is praying for God “to open eyes that
are blind.” This comes from Isaiah 42.7, so we call our ministry
forty-two seven. Throughout His ministry Jesus was healing
those who were physically blind. All of us have some spiritual
blind spots and we expect God to open our eyes so we can see how
to be more like HIM.
As God opens our eyes we will COMMIT to Him, KNOW His ways, and DO
His work because it is all about HIM!
College
Our College Ministry at
First Baptist is an exciting part of our church body. We have students
involved in colleges across the southeast. We encourage our college
students to be involved in ministries on campus and at their local
churches. However, we want each of
our students to consider First Baptist
Church of Trussville their home church. There are many activities
that take place each year to provide a way for our college students to
stay involved in their home community and church. These activities
include tailgating parties, worship leadership conferences, college Bible
studies, mission trips, college fellowship trips, and other events
throughout the year.
Sundays
Our college students have a place in Sunday
School where they can reunite, recharge and reconnect with one
another. Led by Beth and Greg Williams, this class meets in the
Annex Chapel during the 9:15 Sunday School hour. Just come to the
Annex and you'll find the class easy to find, and waiting for you!
Wednesdays
Once a month a special worship service is offered in the Annex
just for you. Artist-in-residence David Freeman leads worship with
Minister to Singles
Robby Hyche giving a talk to meet
you where you are. Watch
The Link Update for news on our
next service. |
