2009
Currently, our
church
is working toward its largest international mission effort in our
history. Next summer, the Annual General Meeting of all the
Southern Baptist Church Missionaries serving in the Pacific North
Rim will take place in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Our church will
host this event, providing services to the many missionaries serving
in that part of the world. These services will range from
providing medical needs, to cutting hair, to leading worship, to
ministering to their children.

Women on Mission
 Women on Mission
groups offer all ages of women an opportunity to be involved in a number
of local mission opportunities. Our WOM serve as the coordinating group
for Associational and other church-wide projects such as the annual
Thanksgiving Food Basket ministry, Raceway Ministries, Season of Our
Savior, and Food for Friends. Groups meet monthly and as needed for
special projects. Groups currently include: Prayer Group, Multi-Focus
Group, Mission Action Group, and the Prayer Shawl Ministry Group.
Periodic combined group meetings feature special missions speakers. |
