If you have the itch to hit the court to play
a little hoop, we've got you covered. Basketball leagues are offered for
children, youth and adults. If you want to take to the gridiron,
adult flag football leagues are available to you. Or, if
softball is your game, spring and fall
softball leagues allow you to walk between the lines and swing for the
fence. Assemble your own team, or join an existing team. Either way,
no matter the sport, the aim is fun, sportsmanship and fellowship.

Sports isn't all we do. All special
events for the church are headed up by the Recreation Department.
This can include after church socials,
Trunk or Treat, our annual
Halloween alternative, and planned family events,
such as Family Day at Alabama Adventure. There is a saying that says, the family
that plays together stays together. We believe this idea to have
validity, so we seek to build the body of Christ through fun
activities for the family. |

From time-to-time, you can brush up on your
skills in a wide variety of areas. Learn to sculpt that perfect
vase. Learn how to take your basketball game to the next level
through clinics.
Master the set and spike in volleyball. Get those dance moves down
before tryouts at school...and on and on. There is something for everyone
in the Recreation Ministry of First Baptist Church Trussville. |
